why are so many kids thatcherites these days? i dont understand any of it. i can understand being quite conservative when youre old and out in the world and you want a party that'll take care of the middle class, but god knows why anyone would turn to them before they're 21. also they're all so bloody obsessed with thatcher, they're always going on about how she was the most brilliant person ever with the same kind of grins on their faces that people have when they're talking about how much they love gok wan or jimmy carr, and how 'fabulous' they are. you dont find that in left wing kids, they dont go around always talking up clement attlee or roy jenkins as if they're the most beautiful person to have ever existed. why is this? the only logical conclusion to draw is that all thatcherites have mental problems and need a parental figure/fuhrer from whose proverbial teat they can suckle self-respect.

either that, or they havent properly thought about it, which is usually the case.
